PUJANZA NORTH 2017, produced by Pujanza, showcases an exceptional blend of freshness and acidity that remains consistent across vintages, a testament to its unique climatic and geological origins. Crafted from the Tempranillo grape, this wine undergoes spontaneous fermentation complemented by gentle daily pump-overs. Its maturation process spans a year, with half of this time spent aging in French oak barrels and the other half in concrete tanks. Visually, it presents as a bright and clear wine, characterized by a vibrant cherry red hue accented with violet reflections.
On the nose, it offers a fruity bouquet delicately intertwined with hints of spice and well-balanced oak. The limestone-rich terroir contributes a distinct minerality to the profile. In the mouth, it delivers a robust and expansive flavor, featuring solid yet smooth tannins that maintain a harmonious balance among its body, acidity, and alcohol content.
